Better Photography

isolate the subjectHi Everyone,

I’m always looking for tips on taking better pictures.

It’s not that I’m a bad photographer. At least, I don’t think that’s the case. In fact, in my younger years, a number of my photos were used on the front of postcards, reminding people about their upcoming appointment at the eye doctor.

That was pretty exciting!

Back then, I had a lot more time to take pictures than I do now. So, I could take my time and really think about the composition of my photos. And, since I took mostly nature pictures – landscapes and flowers, it also helped that most of my subjects didn’t move quickly! So, again, I had time to work on the shot.

But these days, it seems my time is always tight and I can’t waste it pouring over each shot. And, I know I’m not alone that way. We’re all busy!

So, I find it helpful to read up on other people's photography tips.

So, to that end, here’s a link to a blog post with 5 Steps to Better Photograph. Hope that you find it helpful.

Happy Scrapping!

Mary
